Steph

I believe in building trusting relationships with our pet dogs, that consist of mutual respect and understanding - which often takes time, patience and perseverance. I’m an advocate of kind, fair and effective dog training methods.

About Me

I have two dogs myself, Sonny who is a Brittany Spaniel and Honey who is a Working Cocker Spaniel cross Beagle.

I’m a student member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and continue to broaden my knowledge and experience by attending regular seminars, webinars and other dog related courses.

My area of expertise is puppy training. I’m passionate about setting our dogs up for success by putting in the ground work at puppy stage. Dogs need continual training throughout all stages of their life, but you can massively reduce the likelihood of behavioural issues in later life by having a ‘prevention is better than cure’ approach to your dog training plan.

At Hudson's Tails and Trails I assist with all Spaniel Shenanigans courses, where I get to focus on nurturing breed specific training.
